Rackspace to Host a Career Mentoring Day for Disabled Veterans |
SAN ANTONIO, August 19, 2010 -- Rackspace® Hosting, the world´s leading specialist in the hosting and cloud computing industries, will work with Enable America and host their first Career Mentoring Day for disabled veterans on August 19, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Rackspace´s headquarters in San Antonio, Texas.
Enable America, through its VetConnect “Path to Employment” mentoring program, provides disabled veterans real-life work experiences that can lead to a job. Enable America matches mentor companies, such as Rackspace, with wounded war heroes who often have difficulty finding work.
Today´s tough economy demands a creative approach to finding these deserving work ready disabled veterans employment; Career Mentoring Days fills that need and companies like Rackspace provide the opportunity.
